Engage in IADR by serving on a committee! Submit your nomination for vacancies by August 1, 2025.
Committees are vital to the successful governance of the IADR, and each year the Association seeks a wide variety of volunteers, representing as many geographic areas and scientific disciplines as possible, to fill committee vacancies. Information on available committee vacancies for the upcoming year, descriptions of committee duties, and instructions on how to submit your candidacy for a committee appointment are below.
Committee Members serve a three-year term (unless otherwise noted), while Chairs are selected from current Committee members and serve a one-year term (usually in their last year on the Committee). Successful candidates will begin their term of service at the conclusion of the 2026 IADR/AADOCR/CADR General Session & Exhibition in San Diego, CA, USA (March 25-28, 2026).
To submit individual candidacy for a committee appointment, you will be required to log in to the members-only section using your username and password. You must be a current IADR member to submit a volunteer request for a committee.

All candidates will be required to submit a brief biosketch (500 character maximum) detailing their involvement within IADR and/or oral health research to support your appointment.
