2026-2027 IADR Vice-President

Guidelines: Online submissions should include the submitter’s name, the candidate’s name, a candidate biographical sketch (2 Pages) and a letter of recommendation (1 Page). It is recommended that candidates include a link to their full publications, or Google Scholar profile in addition to their h-index.

Letters of recommendation can be submitted by the candidate through the webform or the author can send it via email to @email.

Candidates should highlight past involvement with the organization. All candidates will be forwarded to the IADR Nominating Committee Chair for further review after the deadline of August 1, 2024. Vice-presidents will transition automatically to President-elect and President without being re-elected. Candidates may compete for the office of Vice-president only twice in the IADR General Election. Confirmation will be sent to the emails provided with submission.

Section 1. NOMINATIONS BY THE COUNCIL. One or more nominations for Vice-president shall be made by the Council, and announcement of the nomination(s) shall be mailed to each member of the Association not fewer than four months before the date of the next annual General Session, and in a form to indicate that other nominations may be made by petition.

Section 2. NOMINATIONS BY PETITION. Additional nominations may be made by petition signed by 25 members of the Association and received by the Executive Director not more than 45 days after the mailing of the announcement of the Council nominations.

Section 3. NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS. Before the next annual General Session, the nominations for Vice-president shall be sent by the Executive Director to all members of the Association on an official ballot for a vote by mail to be reported at that meeting. The nominations shall be sent no fewer than eight weeks before the due date for the return of the ballots to the Executive Director.

Section 4. ELECTION. A plurality of votes cast shall elect to each office, in accordance with the Bylaws.

IADR is seeking nominees for the position of IADR Vice-president (2026-2027). Any IADR member may nominate an individual, or you may self-nominate for this position. Nominees must have had prior service to IADR as a Division, Section, Group or Network Officer, or as a Councilor, or as a Committee Chair or Committee Member. Submissions must be received by August 1, 2024.

Timeline: Individuals submitted for candidacy will be reviewed by the IADR Nominating Committee after the deadline. The committee will then submit a list of candidates to the IADR Board Operations Committee. Three (3) candidates will be selected by the IADR Board Operations Committee and then reviewed by the IADR Board of Directors to appear on the ballot for the IADR Election in Fall 2025, with final approval from the IADR Council during the 2026 IADR/AADOCR/CADR General Session and Exhibition in San Diego, CA, USA.

A biosketch (2 pages) and recommendation letter (1 page) are required and must be uploaded above. A complete curriculum vitae should not be submitted for the candidate.

If you nominate a candidate other than yourself, please make sure the candidate has accepted the nomination prior to submission.
